The City of Greenville selected 10博十博中文 for construction engineering and inspection services for citywide projects funded from its Transportation Bond Program.

Selected improvement areas included pavement resurfacing, pavement repair, and areas associated with these operations. Tasks performed under this on-call contract included:

2016 Street Repairs/Resurfacing Phase I and II

The City previously identified numerous streets that needed immediate repair and others that with proper treatment could extend their life cycle. 10博十博中文 assisted the City with further pavement conditions assessments along with contract administration for both pavement maintenance operations and contract resurfacing.

10博十博中文 staff inspected patching, mill and fill operations, and resurfacing contracts on several major urban corridors. Staff also oversaw sidewalk rehabilitation, wheel chair ramp, and curb and gutter repairs associated with this contract. Proper monitoring of traffic control devices was critical working within the City’s active urban environment.

Phase 1 Arlington Boulevard – Heart Drive to Memorial Boulevard and Red Banks Road (Greenville Boulevard to Arlington Boulevard)

This street resurfacing project consisted of full milling approximately 76,550-SY of existing asphalt; placing 7,500-tons of Asphalt Concrete Surface Course (ACSC) – Type S9.5B; 7,1000-tons of Asphalt Concrete Base Course (ACBC) – repairs/patching; and ADA improvements. Work also included the placement of thermoplastic pavement markings, signal detection modifications, and infrastructure improvements associated with the project.

Phase 2 Arlington Boulevard

This resurfacing project consisted of full milling of approximately 46,300-SY of existing asphalt; placing 4,550-tons of ACSC – Type S9.5B; 4,500-tons of ACBC – repairs/patching; and ADA improvements. Work also included the placement of thermoplastic pavement markings, signal detection modifications, and improvements of associated equipment.

2017 Street Repairs/Citywide Resurfacing

10博十博中文 provided construction management and contract administration services for the Greenville citywide resurfacing program. This project included several city thoroughfares, major collectors, as well as subdivision streets.

Street resurfacing in 2017 consisted of full and edge milling of approximately 198,300-SY of existing asphalt; placing 21,000-tons of ACSC – Type S9.5B; 7,100-tons of ASBC – repairs/patching; ADA improvements; and adjustments for manholes, valves, and other utilities.

Work also included the placement of thermoplastic pavement markings, signal detection modifications, and improvements of associated equipment. Staff provided documentation of daily diaries; materials sampling and testing; verification of monthly pay quantities; monitoring traffic control; monitoring project schedule; and project closeout.
